Calvert Vaux Historic Residential Painting Case Study

In July 2022, CertaPro Painters® of Orange County, NY, completed a residential painting project for a historic home built in 1857 by renowned architect Calvert Vaux in Newburgh, NY. The mansion was in need of an exterior paint refresh and light carpentry services. Along with a fresh exterior paint job, our crew was faced with the task of replacing rotting wood and replacing the original soffits that were deteriorated. We used custom fabrication for the replacement soffits, replaced the rotting wood, and refreshed the exterior paint. The project was completed in three weeks and the owners were pleased with the final result!
