CertaPro Painters® of Omaha, NE completed an interior painting and drywall project on a house in Waterloo NE. The 12-year-old home required work throughout the main floor as well as a new basement finish, making it a comprehensive interior transformation from top to bottom.
The project involved painting all interior surfaces on the main floor, completing a new basement finish, and performing drywall repairs and new drywall installation where needed. The unfinished basement ceiling was coated with dryfall—a specially formulated paint that dries to a powder-like finish and is ideal for open ceiling applications. Dryfall is a smart, cost-effective solution for unfinished ceilings: it delivers a clean, uniform look without requiring the meticulous prep that a finished ceiling would demand.
The biggest challenge on this project was that a tree had fallen on the house, causing damage to one of the bedrooms, which required extensive drywall repair and new drywall installation.
