Commercial Painting Project
CHALLENGES:
The primary challenge of this commercial painting project was the stringent 36-hour deadline to complete all stages, including preparation, painting, and cleanup. The project began at 12:30 PM on a Saturday and concluded by 1:00 PM the following Sunday, demanding efficient coordination and swift execution.
CONDITIONS:
The task was to transform a white ceiling into black to align with the new décor of the dining room. This involved intricate work such as spraying the ceiling while carefully masking off critical areas including the sprinkler system, speakers, pot lights, fixtures, windows, and walls to avoid overspray and damage.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
The project team comprised 7 members: 3 office staff, 3 painters, and 1 marketing person. This diverse team collaborated effectively to meet the tight deadline, showcasing their commitment and teamwork under pressure.
PROJECT TIMELINE
Completed over a weekend in November 2021.
THE FINAL RESULTS
We finished the project right on time, and the dining room now looks great with its new black ceiling. The client was really happy with the new look and the quality of the work.
