Sandman Hotel - Phase Two Case Study
CertaPro Painters® of Oakville-Burlington
Sandman Hotel – Phase Two Painting Project
CHALLENGES:
This commercial project took place on the south side of the Sandman Hotel in Oakville. Along with needing to be mindful of our surroundings to ensure guest safety, there were a few sections that could not be reached even with the 135-foot boom. This meant we had to maneuver a 40-foot ladder up onto a lower level of the roof to carefully access the unreachable sections.
CONDITIONS:
The south-facing side of the hotel wasn’t part of phase 1, meaning it hadn’t been painted in nearly 10 years and was in great need of a refresh.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
This phase of the project involved maneuvering along the south-facing side of the hotel using a 135-foot articulating boom lift to paint all the hardie boards. Additionally, we updated a few sections on the north side of the hotel to a newly desired colour.
PROJECT TIMELINE
Phase 2 of this project was completed in October of 2024.
THE FINAL RESULTS
The Manager, Neil, was very happy with the completion of this exterior refresh.
"The whole Certa team was wonderful to work with. I appreciate the constant updates and feedback on the on going process of the project. Everyone was a pleasure to speak with and you all did a great job for us! Many thanks to Mark and his entire team."
