Retail Store Painting Project
CHALLENGES:
This commercial painting project consisted of multiple stages which each involved their own unique scope of work. We began by transforming 8 of the company’s tool carts. Next we repaired the areas around the skylights in the lunchroom and painted. In addition, we also painted numerous stencils around the facility.
CONDITIONS:
The lunchrooms had become dated and the company was in the process of rebranding to their new company colours. Not to mention, there was significant water damage surrounding both skylights that were in dire need of repair. The carts were in pretty rough shape as they had accumulated years of daily wear and tear.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
The lunchroom portion of the project involved minor carpentry tasks, the removal of the popcorn ceiling, drywall installation, vinyl baseboard removal + re-installation, and painting. Additionally, for the tool carts, we power washed, sanded and painted to give them an entirely new look.
PROJECT TIMELINE
This project was completed in March of 2024
THE FINAL RESULTS
The Manager, Michael was very happy with the transformation of the tool carts, lunchrooms, and the addition of the stencils.
