Hi, my name is JAi LaPorte, and I’ve been in the painting industry for over 20 years. Originally from New Jersey, I relocated to Westchester County in 2018 while working in the fitness industry—but painting has always been my true passion. As a fifth-generation painter, I got my start early, with my first “official” project being my childhood bedroom. Even back then, I took pride in getting it just right.
Over the years, I’ve painted everything from homes to historic landmarks—including the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges during my time as a professional bridge painter. That experience, combined with a sharp eye for detail and a deep commitment to customer satisfaction, allows me to bring a high level of craftsmanship and care to every project I take on at CertaPro Painters.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me staying active in the gym, enjoying the outdoors, or perfecting new techniques to bring even more value to my clients. I genuinely love what I do—and I’m here to make sure that shows in every brushstroke.
