Residential Interior Drywall Repair & Paint Project

Project: In March 2024, the CertaPro Painters® of North Raleigh, NC team was hired for an interior renovation project aimed at refreshing a residential home in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Process: Our team took on this painting project that required meticulous attention to detail and thorough preparation. Initially, we encountered walls covered with a cheaper paint, drywall damage, and wallpaper, necessitating extensive repairs before proceeding with the painting process.

This project involved multiple tasks, including caulking, removing wallpaper, repairing a significant drywall section, and properly prepping the walls for a new coat of paint. Most notably, we covered up an area of exposed drywall entirely, a task that demands careful handling and immense precision. To complete this project, we utilized multiple carpentry tools, engaging in precise measuring while conducting thorough investigations of the wall’s electrical sources to guarantee safety without leaving damage.

Our commitment to professional painting extended beyond the work completed on the walls. We put significant effort into protecting the home during our painting process, meticulously covering the floors to protect from debris, spills or drips. Additionally, we carefully protected the baseboards with tape to establish crisp, clean lines between the walls and the floor.

Despite the complexity of the project, our expert team completed the entire process in five days through careful planning, coordination, and execution.
