Exterior Carpentry and Painting Project

Project: In April 2024, the CertaPro Painters® of North Raleigh, NC team was hired for an exterior painting project aimed at repairing and painting a home’s exterior in Youngsville, NC.

Process: Our team tackled a detailed and extensive painting project, addressing the home’s exterior suffering from significant damage over the years. The surfaces contained a large amount of aged paint, and soffits and siding pieces were suffering from wood rot.

Before the painting process could begin, our team performed light carpentry to replace rotted portions of the exterior. Next, we removed aged paint and power washed the exterior to ensure a smooth base. Despite the age of the paint, we also took care to paint match the new color with the original shade of the home for uniform results. Additionally, our team utilized air sprayers to guarantee an even final coat. As always, we took care to tape and cover doors, siding, and deck areas for a crisp edges and a simple cleanup process.

Thanks to careful planning and execution from our team, we completed the entirety of this transformation in 4 days.
