Commercial Case Study
DBA Construction
The Project:
CertaPro Painters of the North Shore, IL was enlisted to paint a 70,000 square ft. industrial building warehouse for DBA Construction. All substrates were bare/uncoated (cinder block walls, ceilings consisted of bare insulation and steel cross beams.)
The CertaPro Sales team and Job Site Supervisor communicated with DBA Construction on a regular basis with updates and progress reports.
This project had two paint crews going at once. Both crews used scissor lifts to access ceilings and all coatings were applied using spray machines. Our crews were equipped with proper Personal Protective Equipment, including Hard Hats, Ear Protection, Eye Protection, Reflective Vests, Steel Toe Boots and harnesses when in lifts. Because the floors were not being coated, we used a product called Dryfall on the ceilings. This special coating allowed the crews to not have to cover the floors as this coating dries to dust by the time it hits the ground.
Once the ceilings were done, it gave the entire facility a whole new feel. It was much brighter and felt cleaner! Our client was extremely happy with the work CertaPro Painters of the North Shore, IL did. See below for details from the job.
