Dan grew up in Cedar Rapids, IA and attended the University of Iowa, earning a degree in Electrical Engineering. While in college, he started painting houses as a way to work outside during the summers. After having 3 successful summers running a College Pro student painting business, Dan bought the CertaPro Painters franchise in North San Diego in 1998 and moved to San Diego. Dan’s 20+ years of experience in the painting industry, along with his leadership and passion have allowed him to grow the business to be in the top 10% of all CertaPro Painter’s franchise locations in North America.
Dan lives in Escondido with his wife, Tina, and step-son, Nick. When he is not working, Dan likes to golf, travel and spend time with his family.

Paint it Pink for Breast Cancer
During the months of October & November, we will be donating a percentage of funds from completed jobs to the BCRF. At BCRF $50 funds one hour of research. With your help, we'll be able to add thousands of hours to breast cancer research in 2024 and beyond.

Restoring the Mission Village Baptist Church
Mission Village Baptist Church was one of the latest recipients of community restoration projects completed by CertaPro Painters®. As a charitable service, CertaPro’s professionals agreed to repaint the exterior of the church with paint donated by Behr.
