CHALLENGES:
A common problem in the area is the homeless population. Our painters had to communicate with them on a daily basis that painting was soon to begin so we could have a clear space.
Power washing the exterior required finesse and precision since we had to be careful around the multi-color antique windows.
Much like commercial property painting, our focus was on achieving both quality painting followed by proper cleanup for both curb appeal and quality assurance.
CONDITIONS:
Years of Neglect – While the interior was well kept, the exterior of this building hadn’t been painted in many years. This led to peeling paint and very dust build-up across the exterior.
Lead Paint – After testing for lead paint, we found the results were positive. This meant we had to follow the EPA Lead standards for safe work practices regarding lead paint.
Exterior Damages – Stucco damage and a lack of caulking was prevalent all throughout.
