About the Project
The buildings looked pretty rundown, dirty, with many cracks in the buildings and the color was outdated. We power washed, filled cracks and painted the building with the new modern color scheme.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
Exterior painting to 4 medical buildings with 2 coats of paint in new colors. We scuff sanded, wiped clean, power washed, and scraped loose the peeling paint on wood surfaces. Then we repaired damaged stucco and spot primed repaired areas, caulked previously caulked gaps and seams, and scuff sanded doors and metal to prepare for painting.
SPECIAL CHALLENGES:
The challenge to this project was the Schedule & Routine. HOURS: Painting was to be done outside of business hours. No painting could be done while clients were present. This project was done all overnight. We had to deal with homeless people walking around, and it made it hard to send one of our team members to start on another building due to safety, we always needed to stay together. We also used a boom lift for the higher areas and big lights to see at night.
PROJECT TIMELINE
The project was completed in two months.
