This project took four months to complete and involved a full exterior restoration across each floor of this multi-story property. CHALLENGES & CONDITIONS
The greatest challenge was performing work in the courtyard area of the property, but we’ve dealt with limited space before.
The scale of this project necessitated the use of boom lifts and 40ft ladders. These were used alongside paint sprayers and other equipment to properly apply an even coating to the upper floors.
Aged Exterior Paint – The old salmon-colored exterior and unpainted stones had been exposed to the elements for quite some time.
Damaged Masonry – As a consequence of featuring masonry so prominently on the exterior, this property experienced too much wear and tear to be presentable. Thankfully, our team is perfect for jobs like these.
Glass Curtainwall – The prominent use of glass across the property meant that our painters had to engage in extensive preparations to safeguard the property.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
Preparations – All projects begin with a free estimate, though in this case, we also met with the property manager to discuss deeper details and issues on the property.
Damaged Paint Removal – Scraping and sanding were primary first steps here on the property. Without removing the initial layer, any new coat of paint would struggle to adhere properly.
