Three Tips For an Even Better Exterior Painting Project
Posted on March 16, 2022
When it comes to exterior painting, there are a few things to do ahead of time that will make the process smoother and the end result even better. Now that spring is upon us, you’ll want to ensure that your outdoor living space is ready for outdoor living and entertaining. Prior to painting, we recommend…
- Trimming back any vegetation that is up against the house, including trees, bushes, and plants. It is also good practice to not have any vegetation ever touching your home. When it rains, the plants hold onto the water for longer. If they are touching your home, your home is continuously getting wet which can lead to rotted wood, so trim those plants!
- Moving any outdoor furniture away from the house. Our team is more than happy to assist you with moving furniture. However, if you have small, delicate items, it would be a good idea to bring them inside.
- Lastly, a clean and dry exterior is necessary for a successful exterior painting project, and we prefer to pressure wash your home ourselves. One of the MOST ESSENTIAL parts of painting is preparation, and you can be sure that we’ll get the job done right.
