Recently Completed Wayfinding Project in Atlanta, GA
In December 2020, CertaPro Painters of Duluth & Norcross, GA was contracted to repaint the columns in a 14-story parking garage in Atlanta, GA. The tenants had trouble determining which floor they were on due to the lack of signage and identifying features on each floor. From start to finish, this project took our commercial painting team about 3 months to complete.
The project involved crews painting all floors with different, bright colors and using stencils to create unique and identifying signage so that tenants and visitors could easily identify which floor they are on. A challenging aspect of this project was that our team needed to be in constant contact with the building managers to ensure that the correct floors were closed at the correct times to be able to paint each floor and area where needed.
This project required CertaPro to work hand-in-hand with SkyDesign, the graphic designers on the project, as well as Option Signs who produced the stencils. The stencils were used to help paint the signage for each floor in multiple areas.
