In late 2019, Autonomous Buildings enlisted CertaPro Painters to assist in transforming their newly acquired property. Built in 1975, this 49,000sqft medical office space had been neglected over the years and was due for an update. This was no longer going to be an office space, but rather, a living space for hundreds of people local to the San Antonio area. For the sake of our community and the client, CertaPro NorthEast San Antonio set our best professional painters to work on making this a truly wonderous transformation.
CONDITIONS:
Outdated Colors – The old peach color accents had to go, those were nearly 50 years old!
Block Lettering – The front of the business still had logos and identifiers of its previous owner
Faded Paint – After so many years of neglect, this building needed a top to bottom repaint.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
Color Consultation – Alongside a free estimate, we offer color consultations with every project.
Power Washing – Before painting could begin, all the dust and debris needed to be cleared away
Full Exterior Painting – The peach accents were painted black. As the project progressed, the owner requested that the metal carport and pylon signs be painted black to match.
MISCELLANEOUS
Materials – We used a Sherwin Williams SuperPaint Acrylic for this exterior.
Equipment – A 65’ articulating boom lift was utilized to reach the heights of the project.
Timeline – Six Days including night work to avoid pedestrian/vehicular traffic
