In September 2025 CertaPro Painters® of Nashville and Middle Tennessee completed a large-scale renovation project for a 47,000-square-foot healthcare clinic located in the Cool Springs area of Franklin, TN. Originally built in 1996, the facility had not been updated for many years and required a comprehensive interior and exterior redesign to modernize the property and improve its overall appearance.
Before work began, the building showed significant signs of age and wear. Exterior surfaces had noticeable fading from years of exposure, while interior spaces exhibited general wear and tear consistent with a heavily used healthcare environment.
In addition to cosmetic deterioration, multiple surface systems required repair and updating, including drywall, masonry, EIFS surfaces, and wallcoverings. The facility needed both functional restoration and a complete visual transformation.
SCOPE OF THE WORK:
The project included extensive interior and exterior improvements across the entire healthcare facility. Scope of work included painting, wallpaper removal and installation, drywall repairs, masonry repairs, and EIFS repairs.
Dedicated crews handled specialty portions of the work, including wallpaper installation, staining, and EIFS restoration, ensuring high-quality finishes and proper repair techniques throughout the project.
The redesign refreshed the clinic with updated finishes, repaired damaged surfaces, and improved the overall appearance inside and out.
CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS:
One of the most significant challenges was completing the project while the clinic remained fully operational. To avoid interfering with patient care and daily business activities, much of the work was scheduled during nights and weekends.
The project also required close coordination with multiple trades working simultaneously on a strict schedule. Careful communication, phased planning, and organized workflow allowed all teams to work efficiently while maintaining progress and minimizing disruptions.
SPECIAL TECHNIQUES:
Specialized crews were brought onsite for wallpaper installation, staining, and EIFS repair work to ensure proper execution of each system.
