Church Exterior Painting and Large Logo Installation in Nashville TN

SCOPE OF THE WORK:

The project included full exterior painting along with light masonry repairs to address surface imperfections and ensure proper coating adhesion. Preparation was a key component, involving cleaning, repairing, and stabilizing surfaces before applying new paint.

A major highlight of the project was the installation of a new exterior logo using a large-scale stencil. The stencil measured approximately 60 feet wide by 10 feet tall and required precise layout and execution to maintain brand accuracy.

CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS:

One of the most complex aspects of the project was applying the oversized logo stencil. The team used a chalk line method to carefully align the stencil and guide the painting process, ensuring clean lines and accurate proportions across the large surface.

Weather conditions also presented challenges, as the project took place during the early winter season. Despite fluctuating temperatures and conditions, the team maintained progress and completed the work on schedule.

Additionally, the project required coordination with multiple trades working on-site simultaneously. Clear communication and scheduling allowed all teams to operate efficiently without delays or conflicts.

SPECIAL EQUPMENT & TECHNIQUES:

A boom lift was used throughout the project to safely access elevated areas of the building, including the large logo installation.

The chalk line technique played a critical role in ensuring precision when applying the stencil, allowing the team to maintain consistent alignment across the expansive surface.
