In this case study, we recap a commercial painting project that occurred in July of 2022 for the Bible Baptist Church. We detail the experience of this exterior painting project and share some before and after photos below.
Describe the condition of the facility/surfaces at the time work began.
The building featured unpainted brick which was around 30 years old.
What did the project involve?
Painting of previously unpainted brick with a color change to the exterior trim.
How long did the project take, start to finish?
The project occurred in July of 2022, and we completed it in 3 weeks.
Were there any special challenges involved?
The bricks were extremely porous, aged, and brittle.
Did the project require any special equipment or techniques?
We used Loxon XP from Sherwin Williams on the brick, DTM (Direct to Metal Pro Industrial paint on trim).
