DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT MINIMUM?
Yes, normally its $1200 but for previous customers or winter while it’s slower may make exceptions.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes! We are fully insured, and our contractors carry insurance as well.
WHAT LICENSE DO YOU HAVE?
We are lead paint-certified renovators.
HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU SEND OUT FOR EACH JOB?
It depends on the scope of each job but can vary from 1-4 for most residential jobs.
IS THERE A WARRANTY?
Yes, we have a limited 2-year warranty. Details are provided in all our proposals.
WHAT TYPE OF PAINT DO YOU USE?
We use Sherwin-William and Benjamin Moore paints for most of our jobs but work across many manufacturers for paint products for commercial or specialty projects.
DO YOU HAVE ECO-FRIENDLY PAINT OPTIONS?
Both Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore offer a wide variety of paints that are considered green paint such as Sherwin-Williams Duration and Benjamin Moore’s Natura lines.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO PAINT MY HOUSE?
Cost is dependent on several factors such as size, repairs that need to be addressed, and paint choice.
IS THERE ANYTHING THAT CAN CHANGE THE COST OF A PROJECT AFTER A CUSTOMER RECEIVES A QUOTE?
We may find repairs that need to be addressed before painting such as rotted wood on exteriors after sanding or scraping or damage after removing wallpaper. We will notify you as soon as we find something to discuss best way to proceed.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO PAINT?
For exteriors, you want the surfaces to be dry and under 15% moisture for best results. Also, temperatures need to be above 40 degrees for most paints.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD PEOPLE PAINT THEIR HOMES?
Exteriors should be painted every 5 to 10 years, depending on the quality of paint and craftsmanship it was painted with last time.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PAINT A HOME?
Time is depending on the size and details of the home.
HOW WILL MY PROJECT BE MANAGED?
Your project is managed by our office team from start to finish. Our sales team provides the estimate and details the work to be done with you during your appointment confirming the entire scope of the project. Our Production Manager oversees scheduling with you, can help answer any technical questions or changes to the scope of work and then coordinates with the Job Site Supervisor on your job to make sure everything is done to your satisfaction. Our office manager can help with any questions, payments, or other needs too.
CAN PAINTERS WORK ALONE IN MY HOUSE?
Yes, we strive to hire the best professional painters to do the jobs. Many previous customers will leave a key or key code for painters to come and go depending on schedules. We work with you to do what is most convenient and comfortable for you.
IS THERE ANYTHING THE HOMEOWNER SHOULD DO TO PREP FOR YOUR CREW TO ARRIVE?
Depending on the job, moving out fragile items, taking down wall hangings, and moving furniture to the center of the room is helpful. If you ever need help in preparing for a job, we are happy to help. Just let us know at your appointment.
WHAT IS YOUR CLEAN-UP PROCESS?
We intend to leave your home the same way we found it or even better. Depending on the job, we may ask to leave some tools in a convenient spot or if needed we will take with us each day. We remove all materials, trash, and clean up at the end of every day we are on the job.
HOW MANY PAINT COLORS ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR TYPICAL PROPOSAL?
We include 3 colors per room for every job- wall, ceiling, and trim. If you are looking for additional colors in a room, there may be a small additional charge.
