Update December 2023:
The Patriots Senior Varsity team started off strong this season with 6 straight wins before falling with 2 losses to close the season. They made it to the playoffs but with injuries plaguing the team and tough components, they lost and end the season. Along with the Blue and Red JV senior teams, they will celebrate their season and the friendships made with a banquet December 10th.
The Junior and Youth teams also found success on the fields this season and had a chance to celebrate their season together in their own team events.
All the players all have shown tremendous growth and dedication on and off the field and we loved watching them develop and grow this football season.
The Amherst Patriots program is about much more than just games and wins; they prioritize the values of development, friendships, and, above all, ensuring that every child has a positive and fun experience. We’ve seen these young athletes develop not only their athletic skills but also valuable life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance. These are the lessons that will serve them well beyond the playing field.
