Exterior Renovation for HOA: Wood Repair and Painting

Project: Recently our team at CertaPro Painters® of Nashua, NH and Westford, MA took on an exterior renovation project for an HOA comprising of five buildings, each with four units. The project required a combination of carpentry and painting services to restore and enhance the properties’ curb appeal while ensuring minimal disruption to the residents.

Process: Our skilled carpenters began by thoroughly inspecting the buildings for damaged siding and trim. All rotted wood and trim were removed and replaced, ensuring the integrity of the structures. Once the surfaces were repaired, they were carefully prepped for painting. Each surface received two coats of premium paint, ensuring durability and a fresh, polished appearance.

To maintain an efficient timeline, three crews were deployed, allowing us to complete the project in just three months.

Challenges: One notable challenge was ensuring access to residents’ entry doors for painting. Since doors needed to remain open during the painting process to allow drying and curing, we coordinated closely with tenants. This required scheduling work when residents were home or making arrangements for doors to be left open temporarily.

Result: By August 2024, the HOA project was completed on schedule. The buildings were transformed with a clean, uniform look and structurally sound repairs. The new paint finish not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal but also provided added protection against the elements. Our efficient execution and attention to detail ensured minimal disruption to the residents while delivering a high-quality result.
