Autocare Plus Facility Interior Painting
AutoCare Plus Rebrand Refresh: Durable Finish for a High-Performance Shop Space
Project: AutoCare Plus, located in Merrimack, NH, is an automotive service facility that was undergoing a full rebrand and needed a refreshed, professional appearance for its shop interior.
Process: The team at CertaPro Painters® of Nashua, NH and Westford, MA, completed a full repaint of the shop portion of the facility. The project began with a thorough cleaning of all walls using a grease-cutting pressure wash solution, followed by scraping and removal of extensive peeling paint on the concrete block surfaces. To ensure proper adhesion and long-term durability, Sherwin-Williams Loxon primer was applied to all masonry walls. In coordination with the customer’s rebranding plan, the walls and doors were finished in two separate colors, with a lower band applied approximately four feet up and a contrasting color above for a clean, modern look.
Challenges: This project required precise coordination and a compressed weekend schedule. Work began Friday evening and continued through Sunday evening to minimize disruption to daily operations. Prior to painting, technicians relocated toolboxes and equipment away from the walls, and sensitive machinery including a computer alignment system was carefully protected and covered in plastic. The tight timeline and occupied workspace required careful staging and sequencing throughout the project.
Result: Completed over the course of three days, the AutoCare Plus shop interior was fully transformed with a clean, durable, and refreshed finish aligned with the company’s new branding. The use of washable eggshell coatings ensures the space will be easier to maintain, providing both improved appearance and long-term performance.
