Starting the Season Strong
Posted on April 16, 2026
We officially kicked off our exterior painting season on April 1, and there was no better way to start than by bringing our entire team of crew leaders together in the office. These meetings set the tone for the months ahead, ensuring that everyone is aligned, energized, and equipped to deliver the kind of results our customers expect.
To make the day both productive and enjoyable, we brought in lunch from a team favorite—Sabor—which gave everyone a chance to relax and connect before diving into the agenda. What stood out most wasn’t just the food, but the conversations. Our crew leaders took time to get to know one another on a more personal level, sharing why they love what they do, talking about their families, hobbies, and what life looks like outside of painting. Moments like this matter—they strengthen communication, build trust, and ultimately make us a better, more cohesive team on every job site.
From there, the focus shifted to operations and execution. Our Project Coordinator, Alyssa, led a detailed session reviewing procedures and best practices. The goal is simple: consistency, efficiency, and delivering an exceptional customer experience every time. She also introduced and distributed our new JSS manuals, giving each crew leader a clear, accessible resource to reference in the field. These tools are designed to support our teams in real time and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
We were also joined by our partners from Sherwin-Williams—our representative Alex and local store manager Nick. They provided valuable insights, answered questions, and introduced some of their newest products. Among them were Symmetry, a new interior paint designed for performance and finish quality, and Forte, a versatile multi-surface coating suitable for everything from floors to tile. Staying current with product innovations allows us to offer better solutions and results to our customers.
Kicking off the season this way reinforces what matters most to us: strong teams, clear processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement. We’re excited for the months ahead and ready to deliver another season of high-quality exterior work.
