PROJECT TIMELINE
Started: August 2020
Duration: One Week
Progress
The customer decided to have their T1-11 wood siding removed and had faux stone siding installed. They decided upon a bluish-gray color for the aluminum, specifically James River Gray AC-23 from Benjamin Moore. This color really goes well with the new stone face. We pressure washed, primed the bare spots on the aluminum siding, and applied two coats of Benjamin Moore exterior paint by spray.
We needed to make sure the new faux stone front would not be hit by any over spray, so we used masking plastic to protect it. We also masked windows, doors, decking, and anything else we didn’t want to get paint on. The plant life was covered with drop cloths and other light, breathable fabric so that they wouldn’t be suffocated.
Finished Project
The finished project is a blue and stone facade that is ready to withstand the weather and protect the home while looking beautiful. We also painted the metal storm doors on both sides to freshen them up.
