Exterior Trim and Carpentry Restoration at St. Joseph’s Church
CertaPro Painters of Mystic, Connecticut, was entrusted with refreshing the exterior trim and performing carpentry work on the St. Joseph’s Church annex building.
The project required precise coordination to ensure minimal disruption during service hours, as the church shared its parking lot with the construction zone.
Additionally, the use of specialized equipment was necessary to safely access hard-to-reach areas.

Project Scope:
- Exterior Trim Painting: Comprehensive repainting of the church’s exterior trim to restore its appearance and protect it from the elements.
- Carpentry Work: Minor carpentry repairs were included to ensure the trim was in optimal condition before painting.
- 65’ Boom Lift: A 65’ boom lift was used to access the building’s right side, which was adjacent to a steep road, and the left side to avoid disrupting pedestrian traffic on the sidewalk.
Challenges:
- Tight Access: The steep road on the right side of the building required the use of a boom lift for safe access.
- Service Hours Coordination: The church’s shared parking lot made it essential to coordinate our work schedule around service hours, ensuring minimal disruption to the church’s daily activities.
