Condo Painting Project

Rental Condo Painting Project in Norwich, CT
Our customer owned a condominium unit that she was currently renting, but wanted to put the unit on the market quickly. The unit had damage and the owner had a quick turnaround need.
We had to coordinate with our customer’s tenant to allow access into the unit. The tenant did not have a normal work schedule, so we needed to set up different times and days to do the work. We needed multiple days because the mud repairs, priming, and finish coats all needed time to dry.
While an extension ladder would have allowed us to easily access the water stained ceiling in the stairwell, it was not possible to move one through the condo unit to the third floor because of the tight turns in the entry area. We ended up using step ladders and a extendable plank to access the area.
Project Timeline:
October 2020
2 Days
Before
The unit had experience water damage on the ceilings from both the roof leaking and the toilet/shower leaking. The upper stairwell was stained from the roof leak. The first floor ceilings had popped and buckled tape and some water stains.

Finished Project
This project was done very quickly due to the customer’s timeline. She called us and an estimate was provided within 12 hours. The project was scheduled and started within 3 days. Due to the tenant’s work schedule, we had to wait four days before we could go back, but we finished on that second trip. In the end, we beat our customer’s deadline by a week.
