Robin Bland is co-owner of CertaPro Painters of Myrtle Beach and, along with husband Doug, the other
half of their husband and wife team. Robin graduated from East Carolina University where she studied
interior design and hospitality management. Growing up in Virginia, Robin and her family vacationed
here in the Myrtle Beach area since childhood. After marrying Doug and beginning a family, they moved
to Columbia, SC where they raised their three children for almost 18 years. Becoming empty nesters
afforded them the opportunity to move to the South Carolina coast, Robin’s and Doug’s dream
destination.
Robin and Doug bought CertaPro Painters of Myrtle Beach after Doug took an early retirement from his
senior management position with Xerox Corporation. They chose CertaPro because of their company’s
unmatched success model and their interest in remodeling and renovation. Along with client
interaction, some administrative duties, and her role as franchise co-owner, Robin serves as Color
Consultant for their clients looking for advice. She enjoys the opportunity to help the people in her area
