Residential Painter

Job description
We are looking for skilled Professional Painters to paint the interior and exterior of structures. An excellent painter is knowledgeable in selecting the right material for their job. They have experience in painting with various tools and in various heights and spaces while observing all safety measures. They must be reliable. They must possess mechanical aptitude and possess great attention to detail in completing their duties. The goal is to deliver high-quality painting work. Additional skills in the trade such as drywall finishing, are highly desired.

Responsibilities for Professional Painter

– Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
– Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.
– Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (caulk, bondo, plaster, etc)
– Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
– Airless spray, brush and roll, stain (interior and exterior)
– Apply varnish and other finishes
– Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions

Skills for Professional Painter

– Proven experience as a painter
– Skills in drywall finishing are highly desired
– Knowledge of drywall installation process from studs to finishing is a bonus
– Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select and apply them
– Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)
– Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders, etc.
– Conscientious with great attention to detail
– High mechanical aptitude
– Great customer service skills are a plus!

Pay: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour
