Commercial Painting Project Manager

CertaPro Painters of Milwaukee is seeking a skilled project manager to oversee and coordinate painting projects for our commercial clients. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve managing all aspects of the painting project from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and supervision of personnel.

What we're looking for

Qualifications:
Previous experience of at least 3-5 years in project management, specifically in painting
or general construction, is a MUST!
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
(preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

General Job Responsibilities and Required Skills
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Project Plans: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining the scope of work,
  • schedule, budget, and resources required for successful project execution.
  • - Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing
  • regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or issues, and ensuring
  • client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • - Resource Management: Coordinate and allocate resources effectively, including
  • manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • - Budget Management: Monitor project budgets closely, tracking expenses, identifying
  • cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • - Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project by
  • conducting regular inspections, addressing any quality issues promptly, and ensuring
  • compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • - Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including painters, subcontractors,
  • and other personnel, to ensure customer satisfaction and company profitability.
  • - Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure
  • a safe working environment for all project personnel and compliance with occupational
  • health and safety regulations.
  • - Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any challenges or obstacles that
  • arise during the project, employing effective problem-solving skills and decision-making
  • abilities.
