Exterior Door Repair & Repaint for Haven Hall and Wood Hall

Scope of the Work:

The project centered on restoring the worn paint and rusted areas on multiple exterior doors and frames.

The crew began with light sanding to remove loose paint and address areas where rust had started to form. All surfaces were cleaned as needed, and Bondo was used to patch holes at the base of metal doors where corrosion had caused damage.

After preparation, the team primed all rusted sections and completed full repaints of each door and entrance—inside and out. The work included the front entrances of Haven Hall and the rear entrance of Wood Hall, as well as the campus church’s wooden doors, ensuring consistency and durability across all restored areas.

Final Results:

The completed project provided Beloit College with refreshed, protected entrances that now present well and stand up better to weather and daily use. Clean, uniform coatings and properly repaired surfaces gave the residence hall and church doors a renewed appearance while helping to preserve the materials for long-term performance.

Even within a tight one-day timeframe, the crew delivered high-quality workmanship and noticeable improvements to these frequently used campus facilities.
