Professional Color Consultation Services

When you decide to hire CertaPro Painters® of Louisville East for your residential painting project, we will offer a free in-home color consultation. Customers can take advantage of our knowledgeable color consultant to help them with choosing colors for the interior and/or exterior of their home.

How Can A Color Consultant Help?

A CertaPro Painters® consultant will chat with you to get to know your ideas. The consultant will also look at the rooms you need to be painted and advise on the best approach to take. The color consultant will then show you their paint deck to help you pick your room’s colors while answering any questions you have. Before they leave, your CertaPro Painters® paint consultant will give you 4×4 sample cards of each of the colors you selected to keep as a reference.

Here are some things to consider before working with a color consultant:

Exterior Painting

Choose A Color For Your Exterior
Not sure what color to paint your exterior? We recommend driving through various neighborhoods and making note of exterior paint color schemes that you find appealing.

Define Your Entryway
Choose an exterior paint color that serves as a “Welcome” sign to your home.

Interior Painting

Determine Your Mood
Determine the mood you want to create with each room. Warmer tones are more friendly and inviting, while cooler tones help to create calm and relaxing spaces.

Don’t Forget The Trim
Keeping the trim all one color provides continuity as you move from room to room. Stark white in a semi- or full-gloss creates a very formal look.

Choose Color Flow
The ‘flow’ of your home starts with the living room. The color you choose for other neighboring rooms should work together. You’ll also want to make sure the color of your walls compliments your fabrics and furniture.
