Painting for Multi Location Businesses in the Long Beach, CA Area
For the past few years we have had the privilege of helping Bank of the West with maintaining their properties in parts of Los Angeles. Bank of the West has a wide variety of types of properties each with their own unique challenges. We scheduled to minimize disruption during normal customer-facing hours for the buildings. This project involves maintaining and painting for 25 physical locations throughout the Long Beach and Los Angeles areas. Bank of The West does have some specific branded color requirements, mostly on the interior of the buildings.
Retail Exterior & Signage
It's common to have signage removed for a painting project. A sign company was brought in to take down the sign and put it back up after we completed work.
Interior Office Painting
Interior walls had some branding / color requirements. We worked with the team to match color codes for interior walls.
Tall buildings
This tower required a 125' boom lift, permits from the city, a lane closure to keep the truck safely positioned, and insurance review with multiple businesses.
Curved Surfaces & Signs
Some of these banks have interested architecture like this curved arch over the entrance and sign.
More About This Commercial Painting Project
For exterior walls we did color matching on site to exactly match the previous exterior colors.
Often times these banks have large illuminated signs that block some exterior surfaces. A sign company was contracted to remove the signs which enabled the CertaPro team to do stucco repair where the sign was when needed. We then painted the entire exterior and the sign company was brought back in to reinstall.
The tall tower pictured above required some special equipment. We painted both sides with a 125′ boom lift. Lifts of this size required us to obtain permuting from the city and we had to close a lane of traffic to keep the truck positioned safely. Additionally, some of this job required going over the top of another building to paint all surfaces, we reviewed insurance with multiple business and completed the job in a limited time frame.
