Revitalizing a Southern California Shopping Destination
In December 2024, our team completed a large-scale exterior repainting project for a massive retail shopping center in Garden Grove, California. Spanning more than 350,000 square feet, this property sits prominently at the corner of Brookhurst Street and Chapman Avenue and is home to major national retailers including Edwards Cinema, Target, ALDI, Marshalls, Ross, 24 Hour Fitness, Dollar Tree, GameStop, and GNC.
Though the facility itself was structurally sound, years of Southern California sun had left its exterior paint faded and in need of revitalization. Over the course of three months, our crews delivered a comprehensive refresh that included exterior painting, power washing, and minor stucco repair. The result was a vibrant, modern appearance that restored curb appeal and matched the high visibility and heavy foot traffic of this retail destination.
This project came with unique challenges. The shopping center remained extremely busy throughout the holiday season, requiring careful planning to minimize disruption for retailers and shoppers. Additionally, the Edwards Cinema marquis sign, towering more than 75 feet, required specialized access. Our team utilized a 135’ straight diesel boom to safely and efficiently reach the tallest areas, ensuring complete coverage and a consistent finish across the entire property.
