An Exterior Painting Project In Lexington, SC

Our team of professional painters was hired this October to refresh the exteriors of several homes in a townhome community. The paint on many of these homes had begun to fade very badly, and it was time for an update. There were also places where bare substrate had been exposed on the shutters and gable vents of these homes. Past efforts to address these damages had led to similar, but ultimately different color schemes being used on each individual townhome unit. What our client needed was a team of painters that had the equipment and experience needed to provide color-matching services and an excellent coat of paint that could pass the test of time.

 Starting The Project

With an understanding of how difficult it can be to match paint colors without professional knowledge, they began by collaborating with Sherwin-Williams to provide a on-site color match and evaluation. With their help they found a shade of white that not only matched paint used across the complex, but could also provide coverage in a single coat of paint so that they could keep the job moving at a good pace. At the end of our painters’ evaluation, they provided the owner of the complex with a Paint Maintenance Guide that could stay on file for any future work.

Completing The Project

After the color matching was completed, our painters got to work with painting the homes in this complex. The actual work of painting was made easy by our team of professional painters, as they employed their expert painting skills to prep and paint each house in a timely manner as they worked through the neighborhood. Throughout the course of the job, our painters worked closely with the client, making sure that the work they were doing would make minimal disruptions on the lives of their residents and the other work being done in the neighborhood. Ultimately, our painters completed the job in a week and a half’s time.
