CertaPro recently completed a complete interior paint job which included ceilings, walls, window frames, doors, door frames, baseboards, crown moulding, wainscot, cabinet and cupboard refinishing on this historic home.
Proper preparation was key to achieving the desired look the customer was looking for along with skill to achieve all the crisp edges to this finish. Only durable products that suit this family’s busy lifestyle were used. Colours that go with modern finishings but still work in an older Home.
Starting with our free colour consultation CertaPro was able to combine trending colour combinations with classic selections. The use of a clean white for the trim throughout allows for more vibrant colours well placed throughout

Project Involvement:
This project required a complete color change, demanding precise cut lines for a flawless finish. With multiple colors involved, achieving crisp lines takes exceptional skill. To ensure meticulous results, all areas were carefully covered with drop cloths and poly. The process began with thorough wallpaper removal and meticulous surface preparation. After caulking and filling holes, sanding ensured surfaces were smooth and ready for paint. Ceilings were coated in a flat white, trim received a pearl finish, and walls were adorned with a classic eggshell finish.To manage the complexity and maintain customer satisfaction, we approached the project in sections. This methodical approach allowed us to focus on walls first, followed by trim in each room, ensuring attention to detail and minimizing disruption.
Special Techniques:
In addition to the main painting tasks, the fireplace received a meticulous staining and varnishing treatment, while the kitchen cabinets were expertly sprayed for a flawless finish. Our dedicated crew made sure to clean up the work area each day, taking care to prevent any mishaps with the customer’s pets. Attention to detail is paramount to us, which is why we incorporate important details like pet safety into our Certainty Pledge for every project. To keep the customer informed and involved throughout the process, we provided daily updates via a handy daily update card. These cards outlined what was completed each day and what painting tasks were scheduled for the following day, ensuring transparency and peace of mind for the customer.
