Basehor-Linwood High School Gym

Project: Basehor-Linwood High School in Basehor, KS reached out to us for help revamping the school’s gymnasium which involved cleaning and painting the gym’s interior walls.

Process: With the heavy wear and tear of gym usage and lack of a fresh paint job in over 10 years, it was important to start the process by thoroughly wiping down the surfaces to prepare for painting. This job required lifts throughout the entire project. The crew used two 32′ scissor lifts and one 35′ tow-able boom lift to reach areas over the bleachers.

Throughout the project the commercial painting team had to make sure the floor were protected to prevent any scratches. Once the walls were cleaned, the crew used a pre-catalyzed epoxy paint in order to protect the walls against abrasions. Due to the frequent use of the gymnasium, our team made sure to work around the high school’s schedule in order to minimize any disruptions.
