Our team of commercial painters was recently given the task of refinishing a concrete floor that was stained, cracked and had a peeling finish on it. Using both specialty equipment and coatings the floor was transformed into a smooth and attractive floor that is nearly indestructible and will last for many years to come.

About the Project

Project Involvement:

The concrete floor was ground using heavy-duty equipment to remove all of the previous coating. Cracks in the concrete were repaired. A base epoxy coat was applied, mixed-color chips were spread on the wet epoxy and then the floor was sealed with two coats of very hard clear polyaspartic sealer.

Special Challenges:

This is a tight space for the large equipment so it took careful, skillful attention to the work.

Special Equipment & Techniques:

Heavy-duty diamond grinders, HEPA vacuum, specialty hand tools and project-specific applicators.

This process can be done on any concrete floor, garage, patio, or driveway and commercially in a warehouse, office, retail space, kitchen, manufacturing plant and more.
