Line Striping Painting Services
Our team of commercial painters was recently contacted to upgrade parking lot striping at multiple local businesses to comply with local fire codes, traffic control and to add additional safety zones. In these projects, existing striping had deteriorated such that they were no longer in compliance with the fire code. In some cases, we added safety zones that did not exist previously. About the Project
Project Involvement:
We cleaned the surfaces by pressure washing when outdoors and by hand washing inside the warehouse to minimize water usage and runoff. A clean surface promotes adhesion of the coating to the substrate.
Special Challenges:
In these projects, we managed our time schedule so that there was a minimum disruption in traffic flow. In one case we worked after hours on the weekend. In other cases, we block traffic parking and traffic flow while sections were being completed.
Special Equipment & Techniques:
Some striping projects do require specialized equipment for spray application and some projects necessitate hand application to minimize overspray.
Once stripes are put painted then the appropriate warning signs can be applied such as, fire lane, no parking or two-away zone.
