“Big League Dreams” – Commercial Painting Project
When the city of League City, Texas needed to have their multi-field baseball and sports facility and the site’s restaurant repaired and repainted they called the pros at CertaPro Painters of League City and Galveston. As expert commercial painters, they were tasked with not just a repaint but a series of exterior and interior repairs as well.
The facility was in a stressed state due to lack of maintenance and lack of use for several years. A good deal of water damage had occurred which required extensive repairs. On the interior of the restaurant, new sheetrock had to be installed, taped, floated, textured, and painted to give a new updated feel to the space. On the exterior stucco repairs were required in a number of places.
Exterior painting involved prepping and repainting both stucco and steel surfaces. Given the size and height of the building, a pair of scissor lifts were employed to speed along the progress.
When the work was completed, the facility, called “Big League Dreams” had been restored to major league condition much to the benefit of local youth and adult sports teams.
All told, the project took two months according to the scheduling agreed upon and ended up on time and on budget. The resulting change in appearance is dramatic. Have a look at the videos below to see the progress for yourself!
