Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church

Project: Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, KS reached out to us for help renovating the exterior of their church. The building needed to be power washed and have small holes in their EFIS repaired and painted.

Process: Because of the surfaces being faded and chalked the building exterior began to grow mold and collect dirt, so the CertaPro crew had to thoroughly wash the surfaces in order for them to be prepped and ready for repairs and painting. The job required a 85’ boom lift in order to reach specific areas.

Before our commercial painting team could start power washing the surface, we had to make sure the roof and other areas not being worked on were protected. Once power washing was completed, the crew began repairing small holes in the EIFS (exterior insulation and finish systems) to protect the building from the elements and prevent leaking as well as moisture buildup within the wall cavity. Due to the many activities hosted at the church, our team made sure to work around the church’s schedule in order to minimize disruptions and complete the job in time for their main services on Sunday.

Even with a strict schedule, CertaPro Painters® of Kansas City Northland was able to complete the job within one week. The client was so happy with the exterior work that was done and had us come back to paint the interior of the church the following year.
