Typical Crew Start Time: 8:00 am – 9:00 am

Note: Someone from our Team or the original Estimator may arrive at a later time

There are some outside factors such as changes in weather and changes in the scope of prior jobs that have a chance of changing your start date. If such a factor were to affect your start date, not to worry – we will contact you as soon as we know.

Certapro Painters will provide the following services, unless otherwise stated on your agreement:

  • Move large furniture into the center of the room
  • Cover floors in drop cloths, plastic and/or construction paper
  • Cover furniture with painter’s plastic or sheathing
  • Move furniture back after the job is complete
  • Remove and dispose of trash, left over materials, and empty cans
  • Mark and leave leftover paint cans for your records and touch ups

What you can do to prepare:

To help ensure efficiency, safety, and smooth progress for everyone involved, please complete the following before we arrive:

PERSONAL ITEMS: Please remove small, fragile, or valuable items from the rooms to be painted. This includes items on shelves, countertops, and tables.

WALL DECORATIONS: Remove pictures, mirrors, clocks, and other wall hangings from walls that will be painted. Our team will not be responsible for any damage to items left on the walls.

ELECTRONICS: Unplug and safely store electronic devices in the areas to be painted. Please note: We will not remove or install wall-mounted TVs or other installed electronics.

WINDOW TREATMENTS: Take down curtains, drapes, blinds, or any other window treatments to give us full access to window frames and trim.

CLOSETS AND STORAGE AREAS: If closets or storage areas are included in the painting project, please empty them to allow unrestricted access.

PETS: Plan to keep pets out of the working areas. If there are special instructions regarding doors or pet containment, please inform your Job Site Supervisor upon arrival.

PROPERTY ACCESS: Ensure we have access to all areas scheduled for painting. Unlock doors and provide any necessary keys or access codes.

PARKING: If there are parking restrictions at your residence, please let us know in advance. For apartments or condos with limited parking, please recommend the best parking location.

ASSISTANCE: If you’re unable to complete any of these preparations, please contact us—we’re happy to help.

WALKTHROUGH AND PROJECT COMMUNICATION:

To ensure your complete satisfaction with the finished project, our Job Site Supervisor will be available to answer questions throughout the process and will conduct a final walkthrough with you upon completion. You are not expected to make the final payment until this walkthrough has been completed.

Project Updates: The Job Site Supervisor or our Production Associate will keep you informed about the project’s progress and expected completion time.

Final Walkthrough: Upon completion, the Job Site Supervisor will walk through your home with you to ensure all work meets your expectations. They will address any questions or concerns you may have.

Primary Contact: Your on-site Job Site Supervisor will be your main point of contact during the project.

Payment and Approval: After the walkthrough, please sign our copy of the job proposal and provide the final payment to the Job Site Supervisor.

Please allocate time in your schedule to participate in the final walkthrough with our Job Site Supervisor.

When I made initial contact, I recieved a prompt response, including an appointment to meet and a job bid. The job was promptly scheduled. The painters arrived as scheduled. They worked diligently each day and completed the job within a couple of days. I am very happy with the results!
