El Chaparral Apartments

Project: El Chaparral Apartments in Riverside, MO reached out to us for help revamping their interior hallways. This job involved removing outdated wall coverings, repairing drywall damage, and painting the interior walls. The client was so happy with the previous work that we completed on five of their other buildings, that they had us come back to do this project.

Process: Because the interior hallways were outdated with picture frame moldings and wall coverings, our team started the project by removing all of the old moldings and wall coverings from the wall. The commercial painting crew then repaired wall damage that had accumulated after many years of use and skim coated the walls to create flat and even surfaces in order to prepare them to be painted. Once the areas were prepared, our team painted the ceilings, walls, doors, and trims all while keeping the hallways open for residents to come and go.

Due to the units being occupied by tenants, our team had to work with the management company to time the painting of the doors in order for them to be open when residents were home. The crew used the SnapDry quick-drying paint to speed up the drying process of the doors so that they could be closed sooner and minimize disruptions for the residents. CertaPro Painters® of Kansas City Northland was able to complete the job within two weeks.
