What’s Your Role at CertaPro Painters Indianapolis? Commercial Marketing Associate

What do you like most about being a commercial marketing associate at CertaPro Painters Indianapolis?  I enjoy the combination of sales and marketing in this role.  One day I’m scheduling estimates and completing proposals, another day I’m ordering event materials and networking with potential clients.

Tell me about your background before coming to CertaPro Painters Indianapolis? In my most previous role, I was a sales rep for a construction equipment rental company.  I was visiting jobsites on a daily basis.  I’ve always been in a customer facing, relationship building type of position.

Tell us three things people don’t know about you?

  1. While I have 5 horses and love camping and trail riding regularly, I did not grow up in the horse world.  I married into it and embraced it.
  2. I grew up gokart racing and love the motorsports industry.
  3. I could never NOT have a dog in my house

If you could have a super power what would it be?  Being able to snap my fingers and have the laundry done/put away and the house cleaned up.  Can you tell I’m a mom?!

What’s your favorite way to give back to your community?  My husband and I are new members of the Indiana Trail Riders Association.  Twice a year, we’re a part of the chainsaw crew to help clean up the horse trails in Brown County.  We’ve been doing that since before we were married.  We hope to be more involved with them now that we’re officially members.

What drew you to CertaPro Painters Indianapolis?  My husband went to high school with Michelle Lea, our Controller.  I knew she worked for CertaPro and was happy with it, so when I began searching for my next opportunity, I reached out to her for more information.  After meeting with Colton and JJ, and learning more about the company, I knew this is where I wanted to be.  The team is second to none, the environment encourages hard work and thinking outside of the box, and I couldn’t ask for a better place to be.
