The client had just purchased a new house and needed a full interior paint job. This painting and renovation service also included painting the kitchen cabinets. The house was empty at the time of the work, making the whole process quicker. We were able to work without disturbing the day to day activities of our client. PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
The full project included painting all walls, doors and trim (baseboards, door frames, window frames, crown molding and built-in bookshelves). We also converted the kitchen cabinets from a stained wood to a painted wood. Basic drywall repair to nail holes and cracks was also included.
We painted cabinet doors and drawer faces, which required a paint sprayer and the proper tip for even application during the project.
SPECIAL CHALLENGES
In the process of painting the interior doors, we noticed the previous owner used an unknown type of paint that affected how the paint we applied adhered to the surface of the doors. After testing a few sample areas, we discovered a solution that created the customers desired outcome. This is just one example of why you should always work with a professional painter during local home renovation projects.
PROJECT TIMELINE
The project took 3 days to complete.
We finished this interior painting service in December of 2020.
