Restoring Elegance: Balcony Railing Replacement
In July 2024, CertaPro Painters® of Indianapolis completed a meticulous residential project in Indianapolis, Indiana, focusing on balcony railing replacement.
The project, spanning just two days, involved comprehensive carpentry work to rejuvenate the balcony above the front porch.
The homeowner wanted to refresh the design while addressing structural issues like sagging. CertaPro Painters® replaced the 4×4 posts, railings, and spindles, installing metal mounting brackets to prevent future wood rot.
Unanticipated challenges arose, including the need to replace saturated roof decking, which was resolved with expert problem-solving and precise installation.
The project was finished with a prime and two top coats of paint, ensuring a durable and visually appealing result.
