Commercial Painting Project Harrisburg, PA

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT

In June of 2025, CertaPro Painters® of Harrisburg completed a interior painting project at Hershey High School in Hershey, PA. The project focused on the school’s main entrance and common area hallways, which showed significant wear, scratches, and blemishes from daily student use.

The scope of work included scraping flaking paint, sanding, and performing drywall repairs to restore the surfaces. To meet the School District’s request, our team applied a full color change to the columns, soffits, doors, and frames using exact matches for the school’s orange and blue colors. To ensure longevity in these high-traffic areas, we utilized a high-level urethane enamel for increased durability.

CHALLENGES

The primary challenge was a strict 10-day hard completion deadline to have the facility ready for an upcoming event. To meet this schedule, our crew worked 10-hour days throughout the week, including Saturdays and Sundays. Additionally, significant time was required upfront to finalize the exact color matches for the district’s specific branding.
