Exterior Commercial Repainting
Gas Station
Gas Station Exterior Project in Mechanicsburg, PA
In September 2020, CertaPro Painters® of Harrisburg, PA was contacted to assist in painting the exterior of a gas station along a busy highway in Mechanicsburg. The exterior painting of the canopy and facade was roughly 2200 sq. ft.
The ceiling and associated fascia contained several years worth of mildew and failing paint. Our paint team cleaned the surfaces and applied an exterior paint specifically designed to adhere to metal and reduce fading that comes along with weather.
CertaPro Painters® prepared the area with cleaning and caulking prior to painting. We were tasked with the fact the business is open 24/7. Our paint team quarantined areas in sections to significantly reduce business disruptions by starting in the very early hours of each day. This project required an electric scissor lift. Gas pumps, fire extinguishers, etc. had to be covered. Caution tape and cones were utilized to quarantine each section. Surprisingly, pressure washing was the biggest challenge as the team had to stop as each customer arrived to pump gas.
