Exterior Commercial Repainting
Silver Spring Ambulance Association Case Study
Exterior Enhancement Project in Mechanicsburg, PA
In July 2020, CertaPro Painters® of Harrisburg, PA was contacted to assist in painting the exterior of the Silver Spring Ambulance Association in Mechanicsburg. The outside of the building contained over 4500 square feet of block walls along with 676 square feet of accent striping, columns, and porticos.
The worn exterior had an array of issues that needed to be addressed. The paint was peeling away from the block walls and the client requested some slight color changes.
CertaPro Painters® power washed, scraped, and spot primed the exterior to make sure it was in proper condition before painting began. The team also utilized a man lift and a paint sprayer to professionally complete the painting of the Ambulance Association. The unusually soft ground created a need for plywood boards to support the man lift when in use.

CertaPro Painters® of Harrisburg, PA took pictures of the Ambulance Association’s worn exterior. The block walls had extensive peeling, creating an unappealing look to the structure that needed to be updated.
Worn Exterior
The whole exterior of the Ambulance Association was outdated and in need of improvements.
Outdated Accents
The accent stripes were faded and old-fashioned, adding to the muted look of the exterior.
THE FINAL RESULT
When the project was completed, CertaPro Painters® surveyed the area and gathered images of the updated exterior. The Ambulance Association was transformed into a beautiful new addition to the community.
