Commercial Case Study
Country Inn & Suites
The Client:
Country Inn & Suites by Raddison is a hotel chain first opened in Burnsville, Minnesota in 1987. The hotel chain, offering an upper-midscale hospitality experience, has since grown to more than 530 locations across the Americas and Asia Pacific.
The Client Challenge:
The client came to us in May 2024 looking to have the hotel’s exterior repaired & repainted. The exterior was dated with faded color and their were significant hairline fractures and holes throughout. The project would have to be completed around the hotels operating hours with constant customer foot traffic. The metal roof of the pool house was also to be painted during the hot days of May where products may not stay if applied to the roof in the heat.
The CertaPro Painters® Solution:
Our crew did an excellent job of creating solutions for all the special challenges involved with the project. We made sure to have consistent communication with hotel management to ensure our painting didn’t disrupt the hotel operations. Parked cars were also quarantined and relocated to ensure overspray did not damage any vehicles, and cones were placed to re-route traffic away from work areas throughout the painting process. The pool house’s metal roof was primed and painted during the early hours of several days to ensure the surface was as cool as possible when applying products that wouldn’t apply well in heat.
An 80′ man-lift was used when working on the hotel’s exterior. This included the prep work of removing the air conditioner grids, caulking, pressure washing. The exterior was then refreshed with a sharp new paint job.
The Success and Result:
The project was completed over the course of 2.5 weeks, and the owner communicated how pleased he was with the entire team (from start to finish) for their professionalism, speed, detail, and excellent final result.
